STUDIO POLICIES

IN STUDIO POLICIES and FAQ’s

  • As Per Ontario Government Mandate we are not currently requiring a Vaccination Receipt.

  • The Artscape Building is closed outside of business hours (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm). Outside of these hours, your instructor will let you into the building. So, you must be on time. We highly suggest arriving 5-10 minutes before the class times (especially, if the class is outside of the building's hours). If you are not out front one minute before class starts you will miss class and you will be considered a late cancel. There are no exceptions, we appreciate your understanding.

  • Please make sure you have signed our Waiver through your Momence account before attending a class.

  • Racism, Violence,  Harassment, discrimination or intolerance and name calling of any kind are NOT permitted at Muse Movement Studio. Please refer to our Anti Racism Policy.

  • Please keep your voices to a minimum if there is a class taking place.

  • Please ensure your phone is switched off during class times.

  • Please kindly note there is a no-phones policy in the the studio. If an emergency situation requires you to have your phone on let us know and we will make an exception.

  • All class participants must be 16 or older. Please do not bring your child to observe class.

  • If you need to leave early, please let us know in advance.

  • Please let your instructor know prior to class if you have any injuries or restrictions. Instructors will provide modifications verbally and through hands-on adjustments if consented.

  • Please be mindful that group classes are a shared experience and not a private with your instructor. If you have a question, please raise your hand rather than calling out to your instructor. If you are disturbing the other participants we reserve the right to ask you to leave.

  • Please leave shoes on mats provided by the entryway. Do not walk through the studio in street shoes.

  • Full payment upon registration is required to reserve your spot in any reformer class, mat class, or workshop.

  • All pricing options are non-refundable and non-extendable. Once passes are purchased there are no refunds. You may transfer your passes to similar services or you may transfer them to a friend or family member. We cannot transfer group class credits to private session credits and vice versa.

  • No refunds will be issued within 48 hours of a workshop. All refunds following registration are subject to a 15% administrative fee, refunds may be returned to your Muse Movement account for future purchase at no charge.

  • Muse Movement’s Reformer space is a dog loving studio and some of our instructors might bring their furry pals to class. If there are allergies or emotional concerns and you want to avoid classes with pups: Leslie, and occasionally Alwynn and Lindsay. Please note that last minute subs happen from time to time also so we cannot 100% guarantee there will be no dog in class. If you are attending a class with a dog and you are uncomfortable, please ask your teacher to keep the dog in the changeroom we will happily accommodate. However, there will be no dogs in the Muse Movement Mat Studio. Of course, service dogs are the exception to the rule.
